Yay! I am going to be a real Granny!!!

I haved not blogged for weeks..................but this is so worth it because I want the world to know........................

I have been enjoying the most incredible time being Granny to 5 adorable little ones, who I love dearly! I have enjoyed every precious minute I have spent with them over the past 4 years - Erin was 9 months old when I became a part of the Williams Family - and needless to say.......crept right into my heart!! Then 2 months later Jayden arrived........and then the following January Grace arrived......a few months later Megan surprised us all by arriving a month early.......and 5 months after Megs, little Sarah arrived.......and I said WoW.....these Williams kids are busy! But these little ones - one by one- crept into my heart and I love them as if they were my own.........unconditionally and completely! There can't be any better feeling than to see they excitement and love in those little faces when we visit! And everytime I see them I just melt.....

Yesterday, 24/03/08, I had lunch with the most amazing young man - since the first time I had spoken over the phone with Don, I had this strange feeling in my tum that he was here to stay, and I was happy with that eventhough I hadn't met him yet, I liked him........Sasha met Donovan last June - after both arrived in Cape Town at about the same time - there were so many simalarities in their situations - both gorgeous young people, both parents lived in Benoni, both Dad's are Portuguese, both Dad's are Tony! And I could hear in my daughter's voice that she was happy! And that made me happy!

We talked about lots of things over lunch but I couldn't ignore the feeling I had in my tum...............does he want to ask the big question?? Does he want to tell me something??? And then it happened - "I need to tell you something......." Silence............ "Sasha is pregnant!!! And she's okay.......and the baby is okay And you dont have to worry about anything!!!" But I wasn't so okay.............I wanted to jump out of my skin!!! I have waited for this moment for so long........and finally it happened! I am going to be a real Granny- although I've had such good training with my other grandchildren............but I do believe that this is going to be different........because it's my flesh and blood..............and it's my Sashi! And this granny can't wait to go shopping! Our little baby will be arriving around mid September...........and I will keep you posted and her/his (I think it's a girl) progress!
