........that is the way I feel everytime new stock arrives at work!!!

I don't know if you are a scrapbooker or if you know one (and if you're not or you don't know one........you should do something about that!! What is wrong with you???) - because scrapbookers are nice people! With so much emotion and sentiment! And so many toys!!! I never had this many toys when I was a little girl!!! And there is always something that I must have! My favorite toy has to be the Cricut Electronic Die Cutter! It is just the most amazing toy any scrapbooker can ever have! I am now a legal Mother-in-law......

.....and it is such a good feeling.....although not new since she's been calling me Mom for years!

My eldest son arrived home with a "new" girlfriend about 8 years ago. She was a lovely girl....very pretty and cute. I was very friendly and polite, but did not hold my breath that this would be the one. They were both very young at that stage and I thought that it would blow over soon..........but this girl was too clever for my son! She knew what she had found and she was not going to let go of this one!!

They got engaged about 2 or 3 years later..........and then one day she started calling me "Mom"......and I just knew it! She was the one! They tied the knot on 6 October 2007.........and I am proud to say that my daughter-in-law was possibly the most beautiful bride I have seen in a long long time!! And I am a very proud Mother-in-law......and I am hoping to be a very proud Granny one of these days......

Peer pressure.........

All parents talk to their children about peer pressure at some point! And here I am succumbing to exactly what I have warned my children about so many times!!!


A few years ago it was cellphones.......and then a bit later you had to have an e-mail address.........and now the latest buzz word is "blogging"!!! It is almost like if you dont have your own blog.......you're a bit dah!! Or maybe just a little technologically disadvantaged?? :-) Well, I have decided that I will do whatever to not get this label!!

So here I am.....taking my first baby steps into the wonderful world of blogging.........and I would love to hear from you!

I will share my thoughts, my joys and my sorrows with you.......and most of all I will share my Scrapbook world with you!
