That horrible thing that sneaks up on you without you even noticing.........WEIGHT.......FAT.........EXCESS..........FLAB!
I used to be, and I mean this..........when I was much younger............slim! I always heard that it gets more difficult to loose the weight once you hit 40 and I didnt want to believe it! Well, I have been on a roller coaster ever since! Since turning 50 it has become even more difficult. I use all sorts of excuses...........like 'I am not a teenager anymore!'.........and 'I am a Granny and Grannies are supposed to be cuddly!!' Rubbish...........no more! Done with the roller coaster!
I took the first step towards a better and healthier new ME! I joined Weigh-Less 3 weeks ago and I am very proud of myself.............3 weeks and I have lost 5 kgs! Don is eating WL with me whcih makes it much easier to plan meals. Needless to say, he goes to work every day with a cooler bag full of food!!! But he announced very proudly that he had to adjust his belt yesterday morning! Lol!
I am proud of Don....and I am proud of ME!

M I A............lol!
I have been 'MISSING IN ACTION' for a very long time! Life kept me busy. Lots of things happened. I broke off a 5 year stormy relationship! It took a lot of guts and determination to realise that I can be a whole person on my own.
I have since met the most amazing partner!!
I have never been this happy and Don and I both feel that this was meant to be and we know that we will be together forever! And I cant be any happier than I am right now!
I became a Grandmother in May 2009. Sasha and Donovan became the proud parents of the most amazing little boy! Always happy and too beautiful!
Fabio is the love of my life and such a blessing to us. I am so looking forward to going to Cape Town for his second birthday in a few weeks time.
2010 was a tragic year for us as a family. My son Mensauw and his wife lost their first little girl after a bit of a struggle to fall pregnant. Chandré Mia was born 6 weeks premature on her Daddy's 32nd birthday and sadly left us the following day! It was absolutely devasting for all of us. Fortunetaly they were pregnant again quite soon!
Princess Nia arrived on 29th October 2010.....also 6 weeks prem........and smaller than her sister was........but she was stronger...and is a healthy and happy 5 months old baby!
2011 has brought new challenges...........we will embrace it and make this a good year!
We are now anxiously awaiting our 3rd! Watch this space for updates.........xxx
